What Meeplo is

Meeplo is a free tool that merges board game collections for game groups and cafes. It is operated by RAE Agency. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data we collect

When you sign in with Google or Discord, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from the provider. We store these to identify your account.

When you sign in with email, we store your email address and send a one-time login link via Resend.

When you link your BGG account, we store your BoardGameGeek username to fetch your public game collection.

When you use the app, we store your group memberships, event participation, game votes, and profile settings (display name, username, avatar) in our database.

• Vercel — hosting and serverless functions
• Supabase — database and authentication (stores all app data)
• Google OAuth — sign-in authentication
• Discord OAuth — sign-in authentication
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• BoardGameGeek API — public game collection data
• YouTube API — how-to-play video search

We do not sell your data to any third party.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.

Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account from your profile page at any time. When you request deletion, your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days. You can reactivate within that period by signing back in.

Deletion removes your profile, avatar, username, group memberships, and BGG link. Game collections synced from BGG are public data and are not considered personal data.

Children

Meeplo is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
